8:26pm: blawg.
more word vomit. how quaint.

my mums friends are odd. in a good way. last night i went to a little birthday party for my mums friends mum. it was a bit strange, considering the mix of people. 4 teachers, a bus driver & a taxi driver, and a couple lawyers, then my family. lol. there was a bit of intense debating between two of the people there that was scary and somewhat amusing at the same time. it was very similar to a teacher telling off a kid in your class, while you attempt to stifle your laughs. other than that it was really nice.

going to kimya dawson in a month and a bit, too! i hope shes good. lol.

10th March 2007

1:46pm: HOT FUZZ!
I went to the Hot Fuzz premiere yesterday! We were in the first 100 people lined up (Rachel and I). I think we were some of the youngest there and we waited 3 and a half hours to see it (much to the pain of our feet)... AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT! Of course, free movie = win, but we got freebies and A DONUT! (it was yummy...)

Once we got inside, everyone was buzzing! Peter Jackson came on to give a talk about his cameo and how cool the film is. Then Simon spoke, which I've uploaded onto youtube, here (sorry, it cuts out before Edgar, but my friend has a video so I'll try to get that off of her) (he mentions peggster.net LOL but ... you'll see...): http://youtube.com/watch?v=Xk9T9FPeDMo (sorry, my comments are really stupid.... and I laughed really stupidly!)

After that, Nick talked about how it was his first time to New Zealand, and that his sister lives in Auckland and he hadn't seen her for 20-something years and he got to meet her husband & kids, to which everyone went "Awwwwww" to!

And THEN the movie was sooooo awesome!!! I wont spoil anything but I'll just say: GO. SEE. IT!

SO TODAY THEY HAD A SIGNING! I went along with Charlotte so I wasn't on my lonesome. I got all ditzy and kept leaving my stuff they signed and she was like "Annaliese.... you forgot your DVD case..." I was so excited I forgot to ask for photos from Edgar & Nick, but then I went up to Simon and brought the courage up to talk to him! I said "everyone from peggster says hi!" and he was like "Oh, you're from there? ... WERE YOU AT THE PREMIERE LAST NIGHT?" and was like "Yes!" and he said "YOU LEFT ME HANGING!" LOL and I was like "I'm so sorry!!!!" so he said to me "Call out next time!!" but yeah, he asked my username on it toooo :D haha so he's probably going to read what I posted.... And the fact that I'd uploaded it ONTO THE INTERNET... :S LMAO.. Oh man... I've embarrassed him so much.

Anyway: PICTURES! (I only got two because I was really clumsy...):

8:17pm: UGH
This stupid HTML business, arrghhhhh. I've spent almost an hour trying to figure out why this image wont BLOODY SHOW!!!! There's just this text here and it looks really random :'( PART of the image is shown in 'just beyond the horizon' and some other writing.. but everything else is hidden!? I got this layout from a site that has tons of them and I followed all of the instructions but it decided to be a great big pain in the arse. Humph. So I'll just have to make do with a completely rubbish layout, because I REFUSE to spend my time on something so ANNOYING.
